Yes this thread is retarded... what beer bottles have foil labels...? i can only think of 2 off the top of my head Pilsner Urquell and Leffe

You mean around the neck of the bottle? Cause the labels on those beers are paper like most other beers. Here foil around the neck means extra strong brew(7%+ i think) so we've got alot of them.

I don't even know about this thread, my brain was in beerland last night. Yeah I meant the foil (not paper) around the neck & sometimes over the cap, seems like US beers never do that. (Just an observation...)
