seeing this is the garden , i have a cactus that was given to me , its growing out of control , loads of babies and just getting fatter and larger everyday, i neeed to find out the name of it and try and stop its growth, as i dont want its off shoots in my other plants

1. That cactus looks crazy.

2. There are cacti in california that will shoot their spikes at you.

3. Just hit that thing with a machete.

yeah have been tempted to get rid , but i do like it i just want to get the fucker under control

I was rather surprised to see this drunken angry psycho post about plants as well.

But then again, he's not right in the head, so you have to give them some leeway.

Put the cactus in a tiny container filled with half sifted sand and half bark mulch, Put the small container into a larger container filled with sifted sand.
If you dont sift the fine particles out the sand it might rot the cactus roots.
good drainage and a small container will help keep the cactus small.

Fkn hell.........this thread was nearly a year old.............and about cacti for chrissakes. If there aint enough recent stuff to interest you on the board then go out and have a beer or something.

Unfortunately, Swifty is no longer with us. Death from acupuncture. Sad really, if only Rebel Skin could have gotten to this thread sooner. Shame really, a damn shame.
