What hollow body/weedless frogs do you use for bass?

I'm trying to find a good brand that is easy to set and doesnt fill up with water easily.

i fish for bass everytime i go out maing. i just never throw frogs. i got a few in my bag and they sit there. lately i've been wading creeks for smallies, throwing small inline spinners or pre-rigged worms

any of you degenerates ever fish for catfish? J's Granda sent me some alabama crayfish lures.... because I'll give anything a rattle I'm gonna throw 'em into the sea tomorrow night and see what happens... because they're scented I might just paternoster the bastards.... they're too big to spin with.... how are they supposed to be used?

apparently these lures are designed for 'em... I'm not big on lure fishing, usually just use sand eels or mackerel.... but I have all these weird new jelly lures so I'll give them a go....

we re killing blues and stripers off the surf here. best in 8 years. i havent had time to do much freshwater and never caught a bass on an artificial frog. im feeding the small bass at a local small pond right next to my work garage. hoping to get them fuckers big and fat in the next couple years. the pickeral have been feasting on them for years so i havent see one over a pound in a long time.

You lost me at fishing for catfish in the ocean with lures.

I fish for catfish in freshwater rivers and lakes with stink bait.

the only thing better is when there is something on your line.

oh there was:smile:
today was a good day, my buddies caught 3 or 4 smallies each, one guy was using a 6 weight fly rod which was cool to see. i caught the biggest smallie, about 15" which is decent for round here. caught it on an ultra light rig i use for crappies. shit was a blast. i stuck about 6 smallies i think. i love river fishing:cool:
