As far as South Florida, I love the place. I lived there for 5 years when I was a lot younger, and everyone I've met from the scene down there has been cool to me. It might be different if I lived there now, but I'd be down for playing a show in Miami, that is if I can ever convince my band mates to fucking tour that far South.

Last band I saw was Vexxed Youth from northern Va and a Richmond local Oi/Hardcore band The Reserve. I can't say I like either of them much. Although Vexxed Youth has a pretty intense pit, and their house shows always include kegs of pbr so I find them acceptable.

Everybody Out! was pretty good last weekend.

Oddly enough this is the last band I saw play, but I wasn't really there to see the band, just hang out with my friends in said band, that were orginal members of On Broken Wings (such a terrible band, but good people)

We heckled Everybody Out pretty hard, all in good fun, asking for covers from every B&H and White Noise band we could think of, and trust me we can think of a lot.

When Sweeny put the mic in my face and I gave him a Roman Salute and yelled "Hail Victory" into it, the look on his face was priceless.

Rick's a good guy. Hadn't seen him in nearly 10 years, walks up and we start shooting the shit like we hadn't missed a beat. His solo shit is pretty damn good too.

I'd have to disagree with you. I've seen Murphy's Law more than any other band in my personal history, and they have gotten a lot tighter in recent years. Perhaps they have to be drunk or high to tolerate the scene in your neck of the woods and then therefore play sloppier out that way. Every time I've seen them in the past 6 years, they've been better and better, especially when they played at Popeye's a few months ago.

Yea, I'd have to disagree with that too. I've seen Murphy's Law many times over the last 18 or 19 years. Sometimes they were not great, but for the most part they have been one of the best live band I have ever seen.

it was packed too

but when they play in shitty fucking places like virginia beach.......the fucking place was empty....i was the only drunk dancing and falling all over the place.....it was almost a dissapoinment.

hopefully that dirty south fest doesnt turn out to be like va b.
