Went to see Neville Staples Specials last night. I heard Roddy and Horace were in the band aswell, but sadly not. Still a great show tho'! The venue was pretty small, maybe 200 capacity and sold out.
Even the ska'd up version of Lanatics ... was pretty good and I hate FUN BOY 3! They did a great version of Simmer Down, but no Skinhead Symohony! Shame!
8 pints didn't hurt I guess.

Last time i saw any of the Ex specials bands it was roddy radiation's ska-billy rebels who where actually really good,i was pretty suprised,i went to see Neville Stapels band when they play in manchester last october but they never turned up,wasn't impressed.

They're really good,out of all the reformed 2tone bands i've seen i liked the beat the most,they where fucking amazing all three times i've seen them.

yeah i've interviewed pelbu for a zine that im meant to be putting out haha,hes a nice guy,i mean totally the opposite of what i expected from years of watchin him onstage be a fucking pitbull on a short leash,really calm and composed but friendly,unlike ray who scares me haha.

Britts cool too,i did the merch with my friend at Wasted in 2003 and he gave us all some free merch and stuff,i hated a good lot of the bands there haha,but i got to see some good bands,too many crusties that year though.

Last show I was at was the Solerunners rally...there was a fuckton of bands. I may have to show up at the Continental this Sunday, seeing as how it's the last time they're doing a live music show. Another legendary venue lost.

Heh, that lineup bowed out of the Riot Fest(because they thought, for some dumb reason that they should headline over in Naked Raygun in Chicago), in the morning, and are now doing a show Tuesday, way South Side(almost Indiana South Side)!!

Actually they turned out to be pretty good, annoyingly! some inspired cricket themed lyrics too - "Get padded Up" their safe sex anthem was class, comething to do with protecting your wicket i think.

Guns on the Roof, although not really my style of punk, were one of the tightest most professional looking and sounding bands i've seen for ages, predcting they'll go far. Though you can't help but laugh at the posturing and leaping about off the drum riser, when their playing a support slot on a sunday night, in the upstairs room of a grotty pub to about 50 people.

Not impressed - think my drinking was slowed a bit by showing the Spics how t drink the night before, supping half a bottle of Tesco Value gin after getting back to mine wasn't the best of ideas!
