Really, I love the Sig 556. THough next up on my list is a Magpul Masada (http://magpul.com/tech/masada.html) Though they are not due to be relased untill Early 2008. Here is a link to a review of the Magpul Masada (http://www.defensereview.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=975).

Two differnt animals. ARs use a direct gas system. The Sig is a short gas piston system. THe Sig feels more like a AK when firing it. Because they use the same type of short piston system to cycle the rounds into the chamber. I love them both honestly. I wouldnt mind having a Gas piston AR. Like a POF 415 (http://www.pof-usa.com/P-415/p-415gaspistonrifles.htm)or one of the AR GTC Gas Trap Carbines from DSArms (http://www.dsarms.com/prodinfo.asp?number=DSZM4GTC). And yeah yeah I know they are the same gun made in the same factory. But the HK 416s (http://www.hkpro.com/hk416.htm)will not be sold to the public. Though at som e point I might be able to buy a HK416 upper but so far i havnt found one.
