I was at this place called Biacci's in Upland. 2 blocks from Montclair. A friend's band was playing with some rockabilly bands so the placed was fucking packed. They were over capacity probably by like 150 people. The indoors is the size of 2 and a half of London Calling's, and the outside is about 10 by 20. 2 bouncers for like 400-450 people.

Anyhow we barely get there and this fight breaks out. Some trad skin guy that's gone to a few shows that I recognize gets pulled outside the patio into the parking lot and they start beating his ass 3 on one. I see the big eagle holding a swazi tattooed on the back of one of the guy's heads. The trad is on the ground getting kicked in the back of the head and bleeding bad on his face and no one jumped in to help. So I run out and get the guy working him in a head lock and started punching him. Next thing I know I get knocked in the back of head hard and I fall over, all three focus on me, I get kicked in the head a few times and am back on my feet, and the bouncers have separated it. These guys had I.E. Skinheads on their sweatshirts and were rocking the swazis like crazy saying, "This is our town you fucking SHARPS! Seig Heil! We run this town!".

So it's split up and their heiling in the parking lot and low and behold, they had some sleepers in the crowd because some bonehead girl starts beating up on the trad skin's gf. They get into it, and some random white guy starts starting shit again, they get kicked out. He's in the parking lot talking shit, heiling, and called Roger a ****** from behind the security guards, then throws a glass at Gonzo's chick, cutting her nose up. I toss my bottle at his head, and then next thing I know, some punch comes from the side in the patio, and no one knew who threw it. After that we went to Characters and drank it off. Cops ended up showing up and I think they got all those guys who were waiting for us down the street. Fucked up thing is 2 of those guys used to be down with SGV 5 or 6 years ago and I think Gonzo knows who they are.

So my heads all knocked up. Swollen in quite a few places, back of the head too, and my inner lips are healing from when my teeth cut it up when I got kicked in the face.


Edit: I asked the guy who got beat how it started and he said that he saw one of the guys by himself, and said what's up to him because he thought the nazi was a trad because his chick looked like she was hispanic, and then all hell broke loose after that.

I don't know who told you we were ever cool with those guys but thats wrong. We have had beef with IE skins as long as they have been around. If you go to Upland, or really anywhere past Pomona, you are taking a big chance of running into those guys. Oh well..an ass kicking is good for you every once in a while.


Not sure if the first part was directed at me. I was never under the impression SGV was cool with IE skins. Funny thing is because I never really traveled deep into the IE because of the drinking and driving far thing, I've never really ran into these guys other than the one or two of them that happen to fuck up and show up to showcase. Was interesting to see them this far west though however they probably only came out because they knew it was a show off the beaten path that they probably wouldn't see any skins at.

When we were in vegas on tour some of my guitarists friends from high school were there and buncha rockasilly faggots started jumping him. Threw off my flight and grabbed a bat outta our van and went to town swinging. That split things up quick. Than later that night at some house party we were invited to, ran into some of the guys from the same rockasilly crew and i ran them out of there. My exact words as they rused out were "the last thing we need in this world is another filthy greaser!"

One of the fuckers was trying to be cool telling me he used to hang out in Cambridge MA and ran with some skins, first off didnt know anyone than said "yeah im retired now, ya know, rockabilly". And the kid was like 19-20.
