A former bandmember of Sid Vicious believes the sex pistol was wrongfuly arrested for the death of Nancy Spungen .
Steve Dior 51,said that she was murdered by a drug dealer from New Jersey,and that The NYPD,covered up evidence to make a quick arrest.
Doir ,who was on the album Sid Sings, said at the launch of Alan Parkers 3rd bio on the Pistols ,that there was some documents taken from Sids flat,and that the drug dealers prints where on the murder weapon,a flick-knife.
He also asked at the time why,would Sid have burgled his own flat?
But that the NYPD wanted a closed case,so the murder was pinned on Sid.

Sorry, no. He died after drinking at the White Horse Tavern. Walked outside, collapsed and was taken to St. Vincents where he died. He didn't drink Scotch, he was a whiskey sour man..and the "record" for him was 18.

Then there is the story that he was high on coke,the night before in Toronto,and that two Radio DJs from CBC drove him over to NY,as he was a pain in the arse,and was due to do a Radio show in America that day.
He was booked into the chelsea by them the day he died [they dumped him there and buggered off home]...as for booze,he would drink any thing you handed him,he was always skint and scrounging a drink.
So we are both right,as He was at the hotel the day he died.

I was at the Chelsea and there are LOTS of plaques commemorating all the famous people who have stayed/lived there over the years. LOTS of wonderful writers have done their thing there.

I have also lived in squats in London (as a skin, not punk) and some were better than the fucking crappy expensive bedsits there. When we were there, lots of skins squatted in nice places.

I recently saw some photos from the hotel room, I can't remember where, and Jerry Only was a regular over there, and he was there, with some friends partying and shit that night, I never knew. I've been a Misfits fan for years, and these photos were new to me.
