as my other posts stated i was watching a lot of films last night , but while watching films, Nicki won’t stop yakcing on, most of the time nothing even to do with the film

We often go hours without speaking a word, and she occasionally can't be arsed to tell me things that I ought to be told (like that she needs grocery money).

The ex-wife was the polar opposite - wouldn't shut the fuck up for longer than it took her to draw breath.

I'm not complaining about the quiet. :) Just wish she'd tell me when the household coffers are low.

Oh - and for those that don't know, joint bank accounts do not exist in Japan.

When we watch something and the actors have a non English accent its forever "What did he say....?"
Even if its just one totally insignificant word or phrase....
But its preferable to big slanging matches I suppose..

My ex used to insist on having subtitles on every film we watched on DVD even if the film was english :confused: i always reckoned she needed to get her ears checked out,but if a film could be dubbed or subtitled she'd want it both,Damn that girl was strange.

Most annoying has to be the fact that she's stubborn past the point of ridiculous...and she knows it! Just the other day I had to threaten her to get her to see a doctor. Miserable with an upper resp infection that antibiotics will knock out in no time, and she won't budge.

I always turn on the subtitles or the CC, too. It's partially because I'm kinda deaf, partially because other people who are kinda deaf won't admit it and keep asking me "what'd they say?", and partially because it's become habit and I get annoyed if it's not on.
