I was calling a few docs here in charleston trying to get a new perscrip. for my meds. and they keep telling me that they cant do anything without my previous med. records proving it. Im fine with that. But I know nothing on how to get them, and I got to pissed off on the phone to talk to the lady that was trying to give me a fax number or something.

So do I just call my old docs in my previous city and they can mail them to me? Or do I have to be there in person?

you can either give your current doctors office the contact information for your old, or you can contact them directly and they'll mail them.

Thanks, sounds easy enough, i thought it was gonna be some long drawn out process. Doctors just piss me off in general, but yet only they can refill the damn things.

Be careful. Some dr.s won't send them to you directly, only to your new dr. Depends on the practice. If your old dr. won't send them direct to you, then you have to find a new dr. first and have the new dr. request them from the old one.

I went through similar bullshit.

If you need a script filled, you can also have your old dr. call your script in to whatever pharmacy you're using.

That might just work, again thanks.

ear infections are usually the begining of a cold, so some cold and sinus medication may help whatever you can get o.t.c. and then you might try peroxide in the ear, breaks up some of the wax and crap, kills bacteria and relieves some pressure. just lay your head to the side, pour a capful in and wait a few seconds, youll feel it working. then once it settles down clean it out with a q tip or cotton swab. but ear infections much like the common cold usually have to run their courses.
