Thats very, very true. I spent 50 bucks on a pair of Doc's instead of saving up for something better, and they started falling apart within two weeks. The sole is about to fall off, and if I had waited just a few weeks, I could have got the pair I wanted. FUCK!

Judging by the label I would also say Boots & Braces. That's really a good brand if you want affordable ranger-style boots.

If I need new ones I'm probably getting some cherry/oxblood Knightbridge boots:
