Alright, ..haven't posted here in months, but i figured i'd stop in and reveal that the man ....the myth ....the legend - Fawad himself... was spotted in Ann Arbor last evening.

Myself and Doc Marten Soul were sitting at a bar, enjoying bottles of wonderful michigan brew, when i notice someone walking in the door... big sideburns, swarthy, big owl glasses, flat cap, black fred perry, red suspenders, and his pants pulled up so high i swore Steve Irkle had shaved in. Seriously - pants at an elevation rivaling an old jewish retiree on the golf course ...halfway between navel and nipple.

It was wonderous. He walked by and i elbowed Doc Marten Soul. "Look" i said. His eyes grew big in amazement and disbelief. "No ...it can't be" he stammered. "It IS!" i exclaimed. "He who cannot be named?" DMS questioned? "the one and only" i said.

DMS then commented on how we should seriously go get our picture taken with him, but i figured he might recognize us from our internet likenesses, or smell a trap and scamper off to his homemade-trojan-poster-adorned dorm room.

Ah ...it was a night to remember. I felt like i just stepped in a pile of golden shit, and couldn't decide if i should show everyone or scrape it off discretely on some emo kid's knapsack.

I'm only sorry there was no picture evidence ... you'll just all have to trust myself and DMS's accounts of the tale.

If it was up on the wall when you were there, then no, its not theirs. They had their name up on the wall that they put up (along side tags from a bunch of other now famous bands), but a few years ago some low rent no name band decided to sneak up some buckets of paint and cover over the entire wall and write their name in huge letters. They were lucky to escape out of there without a hospital visit, but from what I heard before they left all their leftover paint buckets got mysteriously dumped on all their equipment.

As for not throwing you out, we try to be reasonable with customers and performers. As long as the person we are dealing with hasn't done something grossly inappropriate or is acting like a complete ass, we'll just say "Hey, could you not do that..." and try to leave it at that.
