I saw it earlier on today. It is actually a pretty good film. Bits of it were shit but there were some proper funny bits in it.

When Sam Jackson said "I have had it with these muthafuckin' snakes on this muthafuckin' plane!", there was a standing ovation.

This one's gonna be a muthafuckin' midnight movie after it's initial run, and it will be in theaters a long muthafuckin' time.

One thing about it, though....if that happens at this particular movie, I'm sure that you'll still be able to stick with the storyline shifts, the character development, and the subtle nuances of the dialogue.

My thoughts exactly about the Chappelle show sketch, as soon as I seen the previews i thought holy fuck Chappelle must have helped with this one.

They wanted to change the title. If they would, he'd quit.

yeah, he's stated that he signed up as soon as he heard the title.

they wanted to change the title to 'pacific air 121' and cut out a bunch of swearing and 'frightening scenes' to swing a pg-13 rating. this was scrapped when sam said no way (apparently he posted a lot of shit on some internet blog site, don't know where but in case anyone is interested)...

coincidentally, SLJ's movies have collectively made more money than any other actor's in the history of hollywood... probably cause there's so damn many of them.

I believe I read somewhere that Bill Murray does the same thing, but he makes himself damn near impossible to get a hold of, so doing movies is like a reward for the director who sought him out.

Isn't SLJ one of those actors who accepts any offer thrown at him?nah, he accepts a lot (to accept everything would probably be physically impossible given the number of offers he probably gets)... i did a search and found on his official site that he turned down the script of 'freedomland' twice before taking it, also that he'll never accept a second billing to a rapper...
