We're planning on getting a hotel room too. That way we don't have to worry about the 3 hour ride back to Raleigh. I know Chuck will be tired since his band is playing and he's going to want to hang out with Perry and Phil while they are in town. I won't be able to drink but I know I'm going to have a blast! I've been looking forward to this show for months.

well i have asked them on two different occasions and he said that it was a joke at first, but they decided to stick with it because it sounded good.

I....I....i just dont know what to say about that-that everybody hasnt allready thought of.

bottom line...that is by far the funniest/fakest thing i have ever seen.

edit: it pisses me off because i really like a few of their songs, but when you listen to their stuff after you find out they were american...its just wrong

So true! I went to shows while i was pregnant,hell i think the last one i went too i was 9 months. I just hung out and avoided the smoke. Once i had Chelsea It was almost a year before i went out again. I didnt want to leave her.

I hear you on that one! I'll be going to as many shows/events as I'm able to before the baby comes. While things have slowed down for us quite a bit over the years, we still like to get out from time to time. I'll miss not being able to drink up all the PBR in the place with my girls but I know they'll be tying on a few extra ones for me. :wink:

I was 6 months preganant on my Honeymoon in NYC fora big ass Oi/Ska fest in NYC..........I was 8 months along dancing onstage at a Toasters show...........if you are up to it GO because like Mama said once the baby comes out you wont go anywhere,other than Wal-Mart,for a longtime!! ; )

Straight Laced will not be playing. Vanguard has been added to the bill instead! I for one am very happy about that. They are a kickass band and always put on a great show. :biggrin: I'll post the updated flyer as soon as my husband finishes it.

For those of you planning on coming out for this show here's some things you should know.....

1. Even though this is all ages ID will be required at the door. NO ID, NO ENTRY!!!

2. Parking is extremely limited so please, please, please carpool if at all possible.

3. There is a motel about 6.5 miles from the venue. It's booking up fast so if anyone is still in need of accomodations feel free to contact me for info.

4. Doors are at 8. There are no advance tickets just a $15 cover when you arrive.

This show was great! Even though I was stuck in the back doing merch I had a blast. My son is already a Templars fan and still has 5 months before he comes into the world. When they were playing 'Believe in Myself' he started moving around like crazy. It was awesome! The only downside was hubby and I were in such a rush leaving the house b/c we didn't want to be late picking Phil and Carl up at the airport that we forgot to bring our camera. :frown: So if any of you got some pics please send them my way if you don't mind.

Not that I'm aware of. The only cd's I sold were 2 of ATF's demo and a few of the ATF/Vanguard split.
