And I will be on that big gray bird, CONUS bound by way of Kuwait and Ireland. Any bets on how soon I will be back over in this shithole? I say before the end of next year. We will see. Sabby, I will let you know what is happening for this weekend.

Yes, he's speaking of it after spilling some salt, while trying to adjust the mirror he just broke after tripping over the black cat that walked infront of him while going under the ladder.
He may have also rough housed a lepricaun but I don't know for certain.

Alright. So, as of this morning, I wont be back in the states until early next week. Flights got bumped. What can I say. Shit happens. The question is....do I waste 3 days bumming around here, or opt to go to Kuwait (Ali Al Salem A.B.) and hang out there for 3 days. Sabby, I got you hooked up. No worries. Nick, like I said, when you get up here, swing by the ER and ask for my guy. He will get you squared away. To the rest of you fucks..Daddys commin home...just a bit delayed.

Fuck man, the transient tents at Ali Al Salem, fuckin suck, the koreans stayed right noext to where we were on our way thru, but we got stuck there for a week. We had to share the same showers as the koreans, and those fucks were the biggest meat gazers EVER! I thought it was just me being paranoid, but I asked my buddy and he said he fel tthey were lookin at his junk too, more than one person todl me about them fags lookin at his stuff...fukin weirdos, and their uniforms look fuckin stupid too. If you go to Salem, have fun with the power outages and no Ac is the fuckin hot as kuwait sun.

Thanks for the "hook up" although I'm not quite sure what that means. Maybe you'll bring me home an Irish baby
Or you just mean you're getting me a vomit bag and putting a bow on it? Hehehe. Either or nice to be remembered.........fondly?

Oh god, the smell of that city is something I will never forget. I remember the first time I woke up at liek 4am and heard them fuckers prayin in the city, kinda gave me the creeps. I was like "what the fuck is this shit?!"

The first thing I thought when I stepped off the plane last year was "Yep...smells like Korea..."

I like Kuwait alright...but if your broke..there isnt really much you can do. 5 dollars a fucking hour for the PX internet. That is some shit right there. Eh. Whatever though. Plenty of transients to fuck with. Good fun.

Back. Finally. Got in yesterday. Seattle is cold. Anywhere is cold compared to Mosul though. I woke up twice last night looking for my weapon. It was kinda odd. They were doing night ranges. Mortar firing. GREAT! I dunno. Did reverse SRP today. Asked me a bunch of stupid questions. Asked me if I needed to see a a professional for all the stuff I did. Nope. Not right now. Maybe one day. Bunch of never deployed before NG guys. They were more asking about what it was like cause they are ramping up to leave out. Thought it was kinda funny.

Alright, so we are on half day schedules until get get our block leave. 1st Corps directed. I am bored out of my skull. Any of you prior service guys feel this way when you got back? Bored? Like you need to get back over there? It is almost as if I have come down with a slight case of seperation anxiety. I am sure it will pass once I get out and about. Re-intergration and what have you.

I still feel that way some days man.

It's hard. You go from having to be constantly alert to your surroundings, constantly on edge, to the slow pace of life here in the states.

Takes some getting used to man. Try not to drink too much, and don't drive too fast. Those are the ways I spent most of my time when I first got home and it only leads to shit.
