New boots

my gripfasts arent holding up very well so im planning on getting a new pair sometime soon so i dont have to wear my gripfasts every day

im planning on dropping somewhere around 100 or a little more on them
im thinking of either DM 1919's or some corcoran jump boots
ive had 2 pairs of docs in the past (1 english, 1 china) that ive liked alot so ill probably go with another pair. but i know alot of you guys also dig corcorans and that they will last for a long time.
im leaning towards the docs since theyre steel toe and for some reason the corcorans are not

i want to order them from a small dealer (such as horror business in mass) so i can support them.

im open to other suggestions aswell

EDIT: how does the leather compare? i want to keep these for a while so i want to make sure i get somthing good

Had a mate who said NPS boots were pretty good but they seem expensive.

I mean, apparently what happened with mine is not typical of docs, but fuck, that only had to happen once for me to be turned off them for life.\

And yes, the Docs i had were 1919s. Good looking boot though.. but i got in a fight and the toes basically collapsed.

My Grinders are Stags I think but I got em for a lot less than that. I just looked on the site for the place I got em from and they've raised they're prices by £40. They're good boots.

My DMs have lasted me a couple of years and used to get daily wear and have had a fair few fights in em and they're still holding up fine.

the leather looks matte (as opposed to shiney) how is it in real life?
