After being surrounded in a square whilst having a drink by gangs of the opposition supporters who are also throwing bottles and bricks at you from the rooves of the surrounding buildings was the way I read and heard about it...

Obviously kids, women and old folk should not be involved but blaming it on West Ham fans alone is a bit unfair from what I hear....

What I read on newspapers and net sites was that they first had a quarrel between them and after they started throwing shit at whoever didnt look remotely like a Hammer... Considering EVERYONE in Palermo is a big fan, everyone got targeted... A few Palermo ultras were arrested as well...
