I broke up with the girlfriend tonight....an unprecidented move, since it's hard to imagine someone who would be as caring, thoughtful, giving, understanding... and be able to put up with me with the same tenacity.

But something wasn't right....at least, it felt that way to me. She seemed bewildered.

And i can't stop thinking of all the people i hurt...her, her family...all of our mutual friends...people whom i really care about ...everyone who's had to watch me self destruct of the last 3+ months....watch me self medicate myself to death ....or for as long as it's taken me to realize that i wasn't acting like somebody should when they are with someone they really love. I really haven't been myself - haven't been a good person... and i want to change.

anyways..... i've got a half gallon of jim beam here....and i'm wondering how much of it i'll go through tonight. It's just after 8pm...and i don't have to get up for work for 12 hours.

They've given us so much free entertainment since they moved into the rent house across the street. She's about 30 and has no front teeth. He's about 40, short and has a bad barbed wire armband tattoo. They also have a toddler. The temper on him and the language that comes out of both of them makes even me blush, I feel sorry for the kid but there hasn't been any violence upon him so I stay out of it. Poor little guy watched his dad smash his tricycle once.

I've noticed that there is usually some sort of straggler living with them, the person changes every week or so but they all have that drug addict/hooker/stripper look to them. There's been a scruffy guy there for almost 2 weeks. Last night we could hear some noise outside so I opened the front door, scruffy and armband were wrestling in the driveway, someone yelled "I'm going to drug rehab next week" and then "Sir, call the police please". So I called them, they came and scruffy got taken away in an ambulance. Scruffy had been laying in the driveway, not moving for at least 20 minutes so I'm not sure what's up with that.

The woman was nowhere to be seen last night so armband was being questioned by the police with his toddler by his side which made me feel bad for the little guy but hubby wouldn't let me go over there and get him. She's there this morning so I guess they've kissed and made up.
