Figured i'd post this up for the people i know in the area ...

I throw Motor City Shakedown, the detroit vintage scooter rally. Both Friday and Saturday nights we've got some good DJ's coming in from Cincinnati ( DJ Grover ) and Pittsburgh ( DJ Riel, of "Weekend Warriors" Oi! fame... ).

It'll be lots of drinking and dancing ... soul / ska / reggae / motown / funk, etc.

Friday night is at the Elk's lounge in Ferndale on 9 mile, Saturday night is upstairs at the Berkley Front in Berkley.

Afterparties to follow at my house ( i've got a keg of Kuhnhenn's IPA ).

One question though...do I have to wear a dress or can I get away with a skirt and my docs? It's a girly thing to ask, I know, but I am seriously curious.
