A friend of mine gave me a mix CD awhile ago that has this French Oi! band on it. Their (what I'm guessing to be) early material really caught me and is really catchy. Anybody know where I can find some info on this group?

A friend of mine gave me a mix CD awhile ago that has this French Oi! band on it. Their (what I'm guessing to be) early material really caught me and is really catchy. Anybody know where I can find some info on this group?

Chaos En France was a comp. album put out by Chaos productions in the early 80s, here's some of the bands on it: Camera Silens, Collabos, Trotskids, Dre Oklok, Blank SS, Decontrol, Komintern Sect, Kidnap, Reich Orgasm, Sub Kids, No Class, Foutre and the mighty Snix.

Holy shit, I thought it was an odd name for a band. Hahaha, no wonder every track sounds alittle different yet still alittle similar, I just thought they kept changing singers and recording studios. Really shows how genres of music can "sound the same" from band to band even to the people (like myself) who listen to it often.

Well, that's damn cool. Got a track list anyone? So I can tell who's who on this thing other than a bunch of french Oi! bands!

I know this thread is old as fuck, anyone know of any distros that sell either (or both) Chaos En France 1 & 2 on CD? Figured I would ask for leads to see if I could save myself some time/aggravation hunting for these.

I got 'em together on a CD...its a copy with a cover but I haven't seen it around much...
