Oshawa, Ontario's Cuff the Duke (http://www.punknews.org/bands/cufftheduke) have set an October 23rd (http://www.punknews.org/releasedetail/2383) release date for their upcoming third full length. Hardwood Records, the Universal backed imprint run by Toronto singer / songwriter Paul Hayden Desser, will again be behind the release. The new record will carry the title Sidelines of the City (beating out the earlier announced Confessions From A Parkdale Basement). A Canadian tour is planned to support the release with dates to be announced soon.
In recent years members of the band have joined members of the Weakerthans (http://www.punknews.org/bands/theweakerthans) and FemBots (http://www.punknews.org/bands/fembots) in the instrumental indie rock collective Hylozoists (http://thehylozoists.com/). Frontman Wayne Petti also recently issued his solo debut City Lights Align via Outside Music this past March.
