ok so who likes Avail? Personally, they have been part of my record collection since i was about 10 years old, so i gotta pay respect...
last time i saw them, they played "Santeria" by sublime, wtf? That was a pretty crazy suprise. they totally rocked it.

Avail is awesome; 4 AM Friday, Dixie and Over The James are all classics.
we also covered "badfish" by Sublime once; it's fun to play something no one would expect every once in a while.

Every single time I've seen Avail, I've had a really, really good time. I can't say that for a lot of bands. Avail's just so much fucking fun.
Probably the best time I saw them was in Austin, and they did a secret show (no publicity, no flyers, no internet ads... all word of mouth) with Oi Polloi.

I love avail as well... been listening to them since they came around on tour in the very early 90's when Satiate came out. It's one of the first concerts i remember going to.
Got all their albums ... great band.

I saw them once live, about 8 years ago. I thought they were great, but bought a CD of theirs that was total shit - never tried again.
i grew up in richmond va, so my friends would always drag me to go see them, always a good time.

I think I actually saw them twice, now that I think of it. And both times they played forever.
