So, pretty much every boot I've tried to wear causes terrible pains in my ankles. I've tried everything from skipping eyeholes that around the ankles to stuffing an extra sock in the boot around my ankle to keep the leather from pressing down on it too hard, but nothing that lasts more than an hour or so without the ankles still being in pain. Any other suggestions?

I'll bite my tongue...and to try and be helpful, try a softer leather boot. Even DOC's have them.

Get some shoes instead. Grinder makes a great pair of steel toe shoes. In my opinion it's too fucking hot in GA for boots anyway!

They are corcorans if that tells you anything. From what I hear they are pretty tough boots to wear anyways. I've pretty much avoided them like a plauge for the past week or so, even though it pains me to have bought them (used, and very cheaply however) and not be able to wear them.

Come on man... Just put them on and walk a few miles. It won't feel good, but your feet will get used to it, and then they'll feel fine. Otherwise just stop complaining and buy some sneakers.

Better yet, chop your fucking feet off. You'll never have that problem again.

Then based on these facts and the guidelines set forth in Skinhead Regulation: 670-1, Chapter 5, Pg. 317, para. 3, YOU cannot be a Skinhead. Time to pick another subculture. Have a a nice life.

Birks are for jerks and Docs are for cocks.

Me personally, I'd rather prefer to think of myself as a rooster with some serious attitude problems than a pussy with a masterbation issue.

Of course that's just me.
