yep, brewing my first lager of the season today. it's starting off with a traditional German Bock kit. gonna add some (1/8lb) of Chocolate Malt and same of the Black Patent Malt for slight flavor and more color. and thinking about some extra caramel malts (60L & higher). any other brewers have any suggestions?

sounds more like youre on your way to brewing a stout....well that is if you dont lager it.
id take that recipe add some lactose sugar to it and make a milk stout. damn is that shit good for dessert.
or sub lactose sugar with oatmeal and make an oatmeal stout.
in any case sounds like youve got quite a yummy tasting brew!
