Correction - the answer is NO

No OS from Microsoft has ever come with MS Word - and you would have to have the MS Office suite, not Works.

Microsoft Word is part of the Office Suite. People often get this confused and think that it is part of Windows, which it is not. For a free Office application go to: http://www.openoffice.org

That is 100% "open source" meaning that a community of people have written the program and it is free. you can choose to donate if you want. But eh, just download it and use it.
