I hate Corona too, especially after working in the bottle room of a bar for a bit sorting out the empties for collection from the distributors. The smell off those bottles with the fucking rotting fruit in them got really overwhelming.

I drink Paulaner, Weihnstephaner, Guiness or Stella when in bars (best shit available in most pubs, there are speciality bars where they import strange rare beers from places on earth I didn't know existed but I don't visit those often). When broke or going to the beach/bbq with friends I just buy some Tuborg Green.
Bad beers? Those nasty beers 3 for 2$ like Bavaria, made with fast yeast and goatpiss.

Berliner Weisse, a blond beer that I discover in Berlin, brewed there.
There is another German one with a monk on it, I can't remember the name. Boris is really good beer from Alsace/France.

I hate guiness, taste like socks juice!! :p

Do someone have ever tasted Beer soup? With cream and mushroom. It's really good. I also taste it in Germany.

In Russia we make sour-malt soup. Cold one. Just chop spring onions, sausage, cucumbers, boiled eggs and potatoes and dill in it, mix with lots of salt and viola. Your breath smells like a dog's ass after you eat it thou.

Yeah Im a cheap date too........I esp. am fond of the Tall Boy cans......If Im feeling classy Ill have Yuengling and My husband finally got me to try Stella and it was alright but my love is plain old Budweiser.

All that "good beer" is wasted on me but I guess it works out money wise as I get the cheap beer and he gets his Gunniness and Murphys.

I like the Paulaner beers a lot, Pinkus Muller is good. St. Peter's English Ale is probably some of the best I've had. I'm also really into the darker Mexican beers like Bohemia, Barill, and Indio. Victoria's a good Mexican brew, too.

But I usually don't have enough money to drink that fancy, so I stick with High Life or Pabst.

If you like the Dogfish Head IPAs then you should checkout Anderson Valley's Hop Ottin, Weyerbacher Hops Infusion and Victory Hop Devil. Also, add in Stone's Arrogant Bastard.

Young's Oatmeal Stout is far superior to Samuel Smith's and the Double Chocolate stout is absolutely amazing.

Generally drink Guiness or Newky Brown during the winter, too heavy during our 2 weeks of summer so for lagers its Stella, Becks, Carlsberg Export. or the cheapish chezch stuff, well this was before moving so now i'm skint, I've a fridge full of Carlsberg, then some Fosters (yeah i know, its witches piss, but it was on special, could be worse could be carling) to top up with later.

I remember listening to Q101 at work and the local representatives of PBR issued a statement saying they wanted all the punks and skins who hang out at wicker park to quit giving their beer a bad name by making it seem cheap.

The actual words they used were tight pant wearing nostalgic college kids and over-testosterone driven assholes to spend the money they save buying PBR and shave their chops and get more flight jackets.

If you're talking about micros and imports, I'm a fan of Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, Young's Chocolate, Rogue Chocolate, St. Peter's Cream Stout, and Guinness, the good ole' standby. If I have a sweet tooth, I don't mind a Lindemann's Lambic, or a Cider either.

Have you been to the brewery? They offer a "tour" and an open free tasting session that lasts about 30 minutes. You can down quite a few Merry Monks in that 30 minutes. Plus, if you buy the beer from them there, it's a lot cheaper than at the distributors. I think a 1/6 keg of their imperial stout was $46. Not too shabby for 5.2 gallons of beer.

i like a lot of american micro-brews...mostly the hoppy, high alcohol percentage stuff like bell's two hearted, three floyds alpha king, great divide's titan ipa...but then the bar we hang out at carries some good european stuff like carlsberg and dab on tap. fuck it, i like it all.

you ever been to 3 floyds? before they had the restaurant we'd go there on friday nights to get a few pints in. good shit, getting to drink in there looking at the big vats and beer making things.

i haven't yet...i keep meaning to go...i know one of the brewmaster's over there. honestly, i don't trust myself to make the drive home...moderation in a place like that would be tough.

DT is good, but I actually like the Nocturnus and the Noel a little bit better. As far as Belgian Tripels go there's two that stand out for me: St. Bernardus Abt12 and Maredsous 10.

Don't really fucking care what it is...and after a year of not being able to drink (if you don't count mouth wash bottles in care packages...which by the way is what you should put in them...not that fuckin candy shit that melts).

Sure....but in Germany and I'm guessing Romania, saying your favourite beer is Becks is like saying your favourite beer here is Carling or Bud or Fosters...
So many other superior beers available...ha ha..

Yeah, Boddingtons is a joke...

I got some Old Peculiar for later tonight...those dark winter nights drawing in now...well thats my excuse....

I drank some of your local Palmetto Brewery stuff, when I visited Charleston. It was better than expected. I liked the sampler at Moon River in Savannah, too. Hadn't heard much about Southern micros before.....

If you can get over that the water might come from Lake Erie,
Great Lakes Brewery in Cleveland has some tasty offerings.

I like lots of fuckin beers. Guiness, Killians, Yuengling, and Blue Moon are pretty high up there.

I had a great beer up in Jacksonville a few weeks ago I think it was called Thompson Lond and Porter. It was better than Guiness.

Most of the time I stoop to Bud, Milwaukees, Steel Reserver, or Colt 45.

Lots of you not from Florida might not know this but they don't sell 40's in FL, only 32's. It fucking sucks.
