yeah, like i said....they've only shown up once...maybe twice now that i think about it at my dj gig. never seen or heard of them at any kind of show, even the clifton ones.

i'll keep you guys posted tough. if i remember correctly, when they did show, it was around a holiday of some sort. can't remember when though, as i never really gave them much thought. i just remember some kid going on about mafia skinheads or some such nonsense.

that's the whole thing....there used to be a couple of crews, but now we're all just loosely affiliated since everyone knows everyone anyway and none of us are getting any younger. there's me and my boys up in the northeast, the broken heroes and those guys in the northwest, shots and co. in the central, and assorted shore folks, in addition to the new brunswick remnants. there's a whole lot of people that aren't skinheads or punks, and others you probably couldn't pick out of a crowd but who enjoy the music and are good people. we all know each other, get along (for the most part), and aren't crews, as such. we have no names, and no identifying anything. crews just bring unwanted attention around here. plus, the advantage is that a lot of bullshit is avoided since you don't really know who knows who if you haven't been around, so the potential for stupid shit is limited. when it does arise, it's sorted very quickly because we all take care of it and have respect for the venues because one or more of our friends has a stake in the place, be it as a bartender, bouncer, organizer, promoter, and so on. all you have to do is ask one or two people about someone, and they'll tell you if it's on or to relax. sure, there are some crews, if you could call it that, but it's not like southside, or sgv, or anything like that.....usually just a bunch of kids who went to high school together and give themselves some kind of goofy name.

i honestly don't see this jms business as lasting very long at all.

nah. we all had our share of unwanted attention, so to speak, so a lot of us had to kinda scatter from certain towns since we couldn't walk down the street without getting shit. everything got pinned on us even when we had nothing to do with it. people moved on, settled down, got arrested, died...so what's left of all of us has kinda congealed into one big statewide affiliation because we know what we had, and we know what we can still lose. there's a couple of crews in NYC, but i only know the people individually, not as a crew as such so i couldn't tell you what they are.
