My dog got arrested...

I got home from work to find my dog got out of the gate. Found him at the Westside Shelter (not too far from the jail I was in) and he won't be able to get out until Monday between 5-7pm. Damn, dogs are REALLY like their owners right?

Except I never got my balls cut off in jail. I am thankful he is ok, and he gets a little tattoo to show he has been micro chipped. Aww, so put some money on his books so he gets a good thanksgiving dinner :tongue:

Edit- The ironic thing was going to go pay/see him, I could have easily gone to jail too if they ran my plates or even just randomly stopped me. But nothing, even the law, will come between my dog and me! 90 bucks for his shots, neuter, micro chip, few days locked up, and registration...shit that's way cheaper than the vet quoted me the other day.

no they are going to do that Monday. It is the law here though, and especially with them trying to ban pittbulls, I had to be sad and say go ahead, otherwise they wouldnt have released him

Before my old dog died, she spent most of his time in the yard. Animal Control got an anonymous tip (we know exactly who did it) that our dog was harrasing other animals (she also managed to get through the gate) and making too much noise. They threatened to take her away if we didn't keep her inside. Since we got our new dog, we have the same problem, we've found that we can't leave him alone outside because he causes to much trouble.

yes he is an outdoor dog now, and I think a friend of mine might have left the gate open on accident, as she said she came by earlier to hang out and saw my dog there... no one is to blame but, again im happy he is safe.

Cool. But in my experience their are a lot of people out there who are either scared of, or just generally hate dogs, (especially the kind my family owns, huskies, shepards, pit bulls, etc.) and sometimes they act on these feelings with very bad consequences.

And my dog kicks my ass every time.
