Shocking. I like the Carling and FA cups because all these shitty teams play the top league clubs and it's interesting to see how well they do and in yesterdays case they sometimes kill the 'giants'.

West Ham has been playing really shit lately. You irons think you got any chance of escaping relegation?

scooterskin

less on the shitty please.
a true refletion on the game would have been 5-1 instead of 2-1, not seen such a one sided game in years, we out classed and out played them from the start.
Has for the hammers staying in the premiership no chance on that performance.

Nope...
Even a new manager would find it hard I think...
The quicker the iceman cometh and finalise a takeover the better..
As for last nights match, i think it would have been more of an upset if Chesterfield hadn't beaten us to be honest...

Bullshit. Man U hardly managed to pull off a win against shitty ass crewe alexandra. Chelsea educated Blackburn, and Blackburn are 5 times the club crewe will ever be.

Only reason we barely pulled that out is because we underestimated them and that we tend to be lazy a lot.

Why yes I can name the players.
Saha, Rooney, Van der Sar, Ferdinand, Carrick, Evra, Neville, Vidic, Scholes, Ronaldo and Giggs. When I saw them play last thats what they had. Also the reason you see more people with Premier teams and what not is because the MLS isn't that great, compared to English or South American football,etc... it's annoying to watch, no talent.

I really wouldn't be surprized if you beat them... Charlton are fucking laughable. They deserve a few years in the championship after this season...

That's fucking hilarious that man united got beaten by fucking southend. The kings of the premiership can't come out on top when playing a failing second league club. What a joke. Too bad they ain't playing like that in the premiership...

for cup competitions you can never predict the result ............some of the mighty have fallen a great height in the past ........and rightly so.

Its funny how every one hails the carling/Milk/Leyland Daf vans trophy/League cup/ delete as applicable......... as mickey mouse until they actually win it !!

I like the carling cup, you see these failing clubs take on the premiership clubs because it's my only chance to see the crappy clubs play. I don't watch any non-top league games, I have before, but I was shocked at how bad they play that there was no entertainment in it. But it is entertaining to see how the lower league clubs fare against the top league clubs.

Jon and others will tell you this but the quality might not be that of the Premiership but you can still stand at grounds in the lower leagues....well most ..............and the footie aint that bad ..........mind you saying that the ball spends alot of time in the air ...........and anyone that trys to play the pretty game with the ball on the floor usually ends up in the air too ..........

Still its grass roots football at its best .......I love it when the premier teams end up playing at the Non leagues grounds ........you watch the big stars trying to control the ball on those pitches ........priceless !!

I might be moving to London next summer, so I'll be sure to go check out a lower league game for shits and giggles if you say they're entertaining... Are Millwall's supporters still the crazy fuckers I used to hear they were or have they settled down since that 2002 brawl where they wounded 40 something cops and 20 something horses?

I like lower league football....nearer to the pitch and some right hard bastards giving out some diabolical challenges along with all the stuff you mention...

I noticed that. I watch Chelsea's games on TV and I see the middle aged guys who are too lazy to play golf, taking their wife and kids who are waving a Chelsea flag, to watch the game. I guess CCTV really makes people feel safe huh?

Those types are the reason there is very little atmosphere at the big clubs anymore .. Most of these people don't know even know the club's songs . When you add the photo taking tourists .. You'd think it was a church .
