After a bit of a silence, the Public Serpents (http://myspace.com/publicserpents) have posted a new track. You can hear "I Attest" at their MySpace page (http://myspace.com/publicserpents).
The Serpents are the newest project from NYC squatscian Skwert who has spent time in bands such as Choking Victim (http://www.punknews.org/bands/chokingvictim), INDK and American Distress (http://www.americandistress.com/). A label for their release is still undetermined, but they're self-releasing their demo via Tent City Records (http://www.tentcityrecords.com/).The album promises a merger of dancehall reggae, punk and ska akin to "Choking Victim, INDK, Operation Ivy, The Specials, American Distress, The Clash, Misfits, Bucaneer and Buju Banton."
