these black/ white suede sambas in a 8US. had them won on ebay last week till the last second when someone outbidded me... anyone know where i can get a pair?

I got an extra pair but they are size 12. I've seen them less and less over the last five years...try Adidas online.

yeah, it seems they stopped producing those in exchange for the standard ones with the gum sole that just about everyone has. as for Adidas online, tried there and just about everywhere else online, they dont even show up in most search functions.

i found a pair at khols on sale for 40 bucks.

you might be able to find some at www.zappos.com

i'll probably end up having to take that route though im a fan of the sambas for various reasons, ie: comfort, long tongue, rugged/ longer lasting outsole, ect.

i like the shell toes or gazelles myself, only because i dont dig the white rubber trim on the sole.

i used to be a big fan of the shell toes till i noticed that they fit my feet sort of oddly with the weirdly placed arch. i suppose the gazelles are doable, though the sambas have better traction and i found them to last longer.

btw- i dig white trim... alot. haha.
