The entire performance of "Sane Man" is on youtube right now in 7 parts. The first is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShvsvgzNU6o
If you're unfamiliar with Hicks's work, he's probably the greatest stand-up comedian since Richard Pryor (in my opinion).

When I adopted "Arizona Bay" as the unofficial name of So Cal and particularly Los Assho...um, Los Angeles, I wasn't familiar with Bill Hicks and had no idea that it was the title of a posthumous Bill Hicks album.

I think he said (on that Outlaw Comic show) that one of his biggest influences was Pryor. R.I.P. both of them.

I assumed you'd gotten from the Tool song "Aenima". On that same album, there's the classic Bill Hicks bit about taking all your albums and burning them because the creators used drugs.

Correct, I got it from Aenema, which is a great song to blast in the car if you have to drive in Hell. I found out at http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=2416 that there were Bill Hicks samples in the song. I think the rhythmic "Learn to swim learn to swim learn to swim" is one of them (surrounding the verses where Maynard says fuck everybody).
