keeps appearing on my screen , and locks me out of internet. i run ad-ware and avg , running vista. does anyone know what might be causing this, is it a virus

you using firefox? It's an add-on to your browser that was probably installed - if using firefox go to Tools - Addons - then uninstall it if you see it there.

edit: could be a plugin - can't remember the actual terminology since I stopped doing tech support shit. - if you use IE it would be in add/remove programs

i had a look on the add ons in firefox it wasnt there so i delted the whole firefox progamme, then tried i/e it wont work at all on there when i click on dig/the problem, it tells me no problem with internet connection, which thee aint it wont just let me connect
i have run all my anti virus cleaned everything up and still nothing

now on i/e i can only get on a few sites it says for security reasonds it wont let me on, facebook my space uk skinheads all the same, it wont let me reload firefox
