I don't really like the death penalty, or republicans, or texan justice ... but I'm AOK with this idea.

I don't believe it's quite fair to even give the scum the benefit of the doubt here regarding 2nd time offenders. Seriously shouldn’t the potential victim be taken into consideration? Wouldn't they rather toss out the fact of there ever having to be a 2nd victim...?

I think this is a good idea, sex crimes ruin lives in a way that is more painful then just murderring someone.....also sex crimes create criminals out of the victims, so executting a sex criminal could stop the creation of other criminals.

Child molesters are the perfect example of why we should bring back the Old West "He needed killin' defense." That's when the judge asks the townsfolk why they strung up the SOB, and they respond, "Yer honor, he needed killin'." If the general consensus among the townsfolk is that he indeed needed killin', nobody goes to jail for stringing up the sick fuck.
In all seriousness though, the law professor had a good point. If they make child molestation a capital offense, that could increase the number of these guys who kill their victims, to prevent them from talking.

what percentage of innocent people do think would be executed? my guess: about the same number who are convicted on bullshit charges.

i would well be up for seeing nonces getting killed, but prison justice i dont know if you have been banged up , but from my jail experiances nonces have there own fucking speciall wings in jail where other crimnials cant get to them , yes the odd one is caught when hes at hospitial or church or something, but all in jail a nonce is 100% safe

they should be executed, but not certain opportunities should not be allowed to pass, namely:
a) torture;
b) experimentation for the benefit of science.
and swifty's right, these fucks are always put in protective custody. they live a better life than most prisoners this way.
it seems like every day another case comes up where one of these sickos has been handed a light jail sentence. here, this week a priest who plead guilty to molesting 47 girls (the actual number is likely much higher than what he plead to) was sentenced to 3 years in prison.

Yep - motherfucker teaching at one of the elementary schools in my hometown got banged up for molesting little girls, he also got three years.
Anyway, as an alternative to the death penalty - how about if we get to use them as human subjects for medical experimentation? I bet we'd get to, say, an HIV vaccine if we had human subjects to test on.

thats a very good and valid point. also could use them for experiments with cancer, lukemia, ect. that way they will benifit the society they were causing harm to at one point.
