So, i got my booklet today and i was looking through it. I hate this crap. Every two years I sit there for hours surfing around trying to figure out how much of the crap im reading is bullshit.

Usually i just look at the issue, fiscal impact, would it require bigger or smaller government, etc, pay no attention to the words and decide like that.

But now im looking at stuff like Attourney General, and i always run into pro gun, pro small government, pro abortion and i never know what the hell to do. Why are there never any perfect candidates.

Here's how I plan to vote: if you're an incumbant, you won't get my vote. If the only alternative is a democrat, I'll leave it blank or write in a candidate if possible. Otherwise, I will only vote Libertarian or third party. These scum need to be sent a message...not everyone is a dumbass two party robot.

As far as governor of Texas....my vote goes to Kinky. Strayhorn lost me when she stated everyone should have the state pay for two years of post-secondary education for all Texans.Sorry Carroll, this isn't a socialist country.............yet.

The Georgia GOP has kept me happy on low taxes, budgets and immigration restrictions. I'm sticking with Republicans here. Hell, I'm working on the GOP candidate's campaign for Cynthina McKinney's old seat, Catherine Davis.

That's too bad y'all have been getting screwed where ever you are, it's great here.

Might I also add that I am in favor of term limits...politics shouldn't be a career, it should be an honor. Limit the Senate to one term (six years) and the House to 3 terms (also, six years). We can examine judgeships and other positions, but this would be a great start. So see ya later Ted Kennedy...

Seems to work fine elsewhere.

I'm also for outlawing lobbyist. That's for the left and the right, no matter the cause. It needs to be a government of the people, for the people again.

hahahaha, the Mexican Consulate is downstairs right now issuing Mexican Passports. I came out of class and walked down into a sea of foreigners being issued foreign passports and the BS the BNP spouts across the Atlantic started making more and more sense.

I want a ban on all Federal giveaway programs. The main focus of the Federal government is to secure the borders of the United States of America against all enemies...foreign and domestic. Enemies, not patriots. When will people start reading the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and quit looking for government to solve their problems. And I again call on the repeal of the 16th Amendment.

So,BFG, how is voting Libertarian throwing my vote away? It's my vote (read:privlege, not right) and I use it to protest the powers that be. It's not like there's a candidate with my views anyhow.

So,Funny how it didnt take very long to go against half the shit this nation was created. The constitution doesnt really mean anything now. Everything is just worked around it legally, or they add amendments until its completely useless.

I somehow doubt the government or this country could survive if we went back to the way it was supposed to be.

Roughly 80 years after the Constitutional Congress Abe Lincoln suspended Habeus Corpeus(sp? ) during the Civil War. Well, that's a good place to start with this dialogue of Constitutional abuses.

I was just picking on Duncan. I'm a pretty big Social Libertarian actually. There's not much I think should be outlawed when it comes to personal choices that don't harm anyone too negatively.
