Who cares if he was on steriods...they are all on roids, at least he has the balls to admit it. Most pro athletes bodies wouldn't survive a decent length career without going on the juice or any other combo of legal, slightly legal and illegal drugs.

i really don't give a shit. mac g took steroids at a period of time when fucking EVERYONE was taking steroids. it's like finding out your parents had pre-marital sex. when history looks back on this it'll be like "that period in baseball when everyone was usiing steroids." he was still a great ballplayer. shit like this keeps baseball going. now if we could just get them to lower ticket prices...

True, just about everyone is on it, or has taken it. That's why I dont see the point in stripping his HOF status. What about everyone else? It also just means now nobody will be dumb enough to actually admit they used steroids

Just look at those guys in strongest man competitions they don't live too long... into there 30's-40's max.
I say allow people to kill themselves however they like. The consequences far outway any benefit. You may be a millionaire from a sports career but most likely you will have bad health the rest of your life. I'd rather be healthy and poor than rich and sick anyday.

Nah, he made some deal with congress before testifying, promising to give insight to the rampant use of steroids in baseball in exchange for avoiding direct interrogation. I think if you enjoy baseball as much as I do, you obviously care about the integrity of the game. As a result, it makes sense that people are angry knowing that someone who hit 583 career home runs probably hit most of them because of the human growth hormones he was taking.
