so apparently i am blind and cant find anywhere in faq or otherwise what all this reputation crap is about. what is the point of it, why does it matter, why does everyone want it? also, this infraction stuff, if you get too many what happens? how many is too many?
also, i found how to see who views your profile like 2 weeks ago and now i have no idea where it went.

Reputation is how people rate how well liked you are. Infractions I have no idea what you are on about. The who viewed your profile feature was deleted but I believe Nutter said he was going to re install it. It is in a previous thread in the Help section.

ok right, but what the fuck diffrence does it make? i mean, its the internet. seriously. are people that insecure that they just need affirmations from complete strangers to tell them how cool/ how skinhead they are?

well, there was none of that before and things worked just fine. i was just asking if there was a point to it, like if you get a bunch of them does it get you some sort of new privilidge or some crap. shit i dont know i was just asking.

The infraction thing...
I just got a warning for quoting racist song lyrics... there's a small yellow card next to the "infraction"... so what is that all about? It says it expires in ten days. Does that mean I can't tell racist jokes/quote Skrewdriver lyrics for ten days?

Infractions are the newest addition - it's kind of nice that we can warn you easily with infractions before just banning you on the spot. We try to give them out ahead of time unless someone is just blatenly here to be banned. They are still new to us so they are often forgotten about, but we're working on using them when they fit.
And ya - if you get a couple (2-3-4) you will find yourself banned...temp or perm - depending on what your problem is. ;)
Remember - we have a private section on our forums here that is just for the mods and admins. We discuss most items and decide on them as a group. Ya, it may look like 'ONE' person banned someone and that is possible, but often we ask each other for advice and opinions. No one likes to ban a forum member that's been here for awhile...so we work it as a group.

And for the reputation pts - it also helps the mods see potential problems on the board as directed by you - the members - if you guys are neg repping someone to hell and back - it draws our attention to see what's up so we can either work with that person to turn them around or so we can show them the door and ban their ass out of here... :) That's how that really works. You don't get special shit for having the most rep - but you do get pretty little colored squares under you post counts that most people wear as a badge of honor for being the equal of the HighSchool Cheerleader or Football Quarterback lol
