We have a ridiculous amount of mosquitos, but that's what I get for living in a swamp. I always come in COVERED in skeeter bites after taking the dog out.

We also have sand gnats, those suckers bite like a son of a bitch. Horse flies, palmetto bugs (flying cockroaches), roaches, fire ants, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets and other biting/stinging bugs that I cant identify because they dont exist in North Georgia and I'm not famliar with them. Going outdoors can suck sometimes.

I think the worst 'skeeters i have delt with were down in the gulf region, when I was stationed in Mississippi for a while. Although Iraqi ones are a pain in the ass, thanks to stupid fucks leaving tent door open at nite.

Centipedes I fuckin hate. Most bugs don't care about and I let them be, but after I woke up with a centipede crawling across my face I kill everyone of them that I see with a highly motivated vengeance. Yes, I'm the centipede punisher.

i dunno about flyin bastards of insects, lately ive seen some weird lookin bugs that wont damn die...takes a good 2-3 stomps to kill em....looks kinda like body of a spider, 6 legs, head like a mantis i believe...startle the damn thing and it curls its back halfof its body like a scorpion. weird fucker...only place i seen it is down in ms too..nothin similar in ks....

not too big a deal...i'm in my co's HQ plt, and out of the motor pool we have nothin but e4's and 5's honestly...rank with my group really doenst come into play unless we're around people that will give a damn about it...but we do got a couple admin monkeys that....meh...yeah....bastards...gonna definitely reccomend a supply of tampons and midol for them boys....

They've been bad around here lately too, and it doesn't help that a West Nile warning had just been issued to the public a few days ago.

yea the worst is that OFF spray doesnt even hardly work, and its expensive as fuck.... lately i buy those citronella tiki torches and they seem to work a little better, but only at night...
