Wow...what the fuck, how fucking sad is this shit
"...Begin with the border issue most sensitive to American readers: For Israel to have any hope...."
I thought the border issue most sensitive to American readers would be THE FUCKING AMERICAN BORDERS

Begin with the border issue most sensitive to American readers: For Israel to have any hope of living in reasonable peace with its neighbors, it will have to return to its pre-1967 borders — with essential local adjustments for legitimate security concerns. But the issue of the territories surrounding Jerusalem, a city stained with thousands of years of blood, may prove intractable beyond our lifetimes. Where all parties have turned their god into a real-estate tycoon, literal turf battles have a tenacity unrivaled by mere greed for oil wealth or ethnic squabbles. So let us set aside this single overstudied issue and turn to those that are studiously ignored.
Israel is a racist/religion Jewish Supremacist based state.
The Muslims want to convert or behead all non-believers(just ask the Fox reporter and cameraman who converted)
The Middle East is a Lose/Lose bet.
Western man was a fool to ever intervene.

Can't get the link to load. Is it about kicking out everyone from your country who's not type A+ blood? That's how nations should be divided up, by blood type! Think about it.
I declare war on the type B nation!

Yeah, they also care about Israel because the Temple of Jerusalem must be rebuilt in order for the Antichrist to rise and declare himself to the world.

Uhhhh....there's no oil in Israel, so really there's no reason to care about Israel.
On a side note:if we can develop alternative sources of energy we can end our dependence on Arab oil and stop caring about those fuckers too.

Drake used to be a big fan of Israel, kept all of the Jews in one place and out of their whitey white countries. If your honkey wet dreams came true and Israel was deconstructed, what would the WP camp want to do with the displaced Jews? Europe wanted a quick fix for their own internal problems, they exported their Jew issues to the Middle East via the U.N.
I am not a supporter of Israel and see no benefit to the American interests in being allies wth Israel after end of the Cold War with the former Soviet bloc. I still refuse to bend to "international" will and drop our support merely because some of the outsiders think it sucks. We withdrawl our support and Israel becomes a dust bin. I have no desire to see a whole buncha dead Jews to satisfy some blood lust outsiders have.

My point is that if the jews can't take care of themselves, then what happens, happens. Same with the arabs, asians, whites and whoever else. Why should my tax dollars go to a country that has the means to support themselves through their economy and technology? I have a feeling if faced with the threat of elimination, Israel would do a fine job of starting their own holocaust against the Arab nations that threatened them.

Who is "we"? Europe started this using the U.N.
On this blood borders stuff, Israel was attacked and won, taking over more land. The Arabs are bitching because.. they lost. I doubt a call for the return to the pre-67 borders would be an issue if they had not...lost.
Frankly, I want an end to all Federal funded foreign aid, across the board. You want $ from us, take out a loan.

Israel has never been a good ally, from the huge list of folks spying for Israel,to the USS Liberty, the list goes on and on.
If Sweden(for example) had committed the crimes against our country that Israel has, would we still be so silent?
Of course,Sweden(again, example) doesn't have as nearly a powerful lobby...
Isolationalism, esp. when it comes to the middle east,is the only sensible solution at this point..How many more peace summits, how many more border wars,U.S. tax dollars,Weapons...

Why do you think there is so much support for Isreal then. Do you think it's guilt because of the holocuast or that special interest groups have WAY too much power and influence.

The interest in Israel is because Christian countries don't want to take the chance of not supporting God's chosen people.

Except that christians don't really see Jews as God's chosen people. Jews see themselfs as that.

Actually, being raised with Christianity shoved down my throat, I have known many Christians that think the Jews are the Chosen people, and that pray for the peace of Jerusalem everyday and put great faith in the prophecies of the old testament prophets,
And, silly as it may seem, I have heard Christians say that they feel like they are "adopted" Jews by being the followers of a Jew, being Jesus, of course. Which I am sure pisses Jews off.

What branch of Christianity....
In Catholic school, I was NEVER instructed to pray for peace in Jerusalem, just on earth
Jews do not accept Christ as their savior and in most Christian religion teachings that is the passage to heaven.
If you except those teaching at their word, they can not be the choosen people and at the same time denied access through the pearly gates.

Non-denominational Charismatics is what branch. Of which I am not a member ofas an adult but as a child I was. And the praying for the peace of Jerusalem part is found in Psalm 122:6
And Jews have chosen not to accept Christ that is correct but in Deuteronomy 7:6-9 God says that the Jews are the chosen people
personally I am not trying to argue either way just pointing out from the scripture what is said.

I'm going to take a leap here and say you were brought up Catholic. Because you are Catholic, you would never have been taught to pray for Jews in any capacity. Catholicism, Christianity, Seven Day Adventists, Protestants, Pentacostals etc.. etc..etc.. ad nauseum.. there are so many.. so very many off shoots of the "word of god". Most Christians who support Israel are the one's like Smacker says. I'd hate to contradict you but my sister is a Christian for Israel. Some Christians truly feel that the Jews are.. long lost brothers of sorts.
We shouldn't even attempt to get into the dynamics between all the different Jews and all the different believers in Christ. I won't even say Christians, it's so diverse that I can't. The combinations of relationships are endless. It's a an insanity. There is a lot more going into Christian support of Israel than interest groups.
Put simply, there are many views on the bible and just as many views and reasons why some people who practice the faith of Christ believe Jews are god's chosen. All abrahamic religions are just .. weird.
Edit: I just realized in your other post you said you went to Catholic school, so my "leap" is uneccessary :)

Very well put. You are so right. There are so many different views and doctrinations in the world of "Christians" that many don't like each other and think that the other is hell bound. So much for being Christ-like.

I'm not going to get into the whole Identity Christian ideology here, but up until about 100 years ago, the Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran denomations taught the same principles that the CI folks teach today. They don't believe the modern "jews" are the jews of the bible and therefore are not God's chosen people. I'm not saying they preached WP beliefs, but back then races were more separated and most people did not interact with other races. I really wish a certain someone on here was inspired enough to get into this debate, as his knowledge of Christianity and the history of the jewish race is incredible.

From my experience with the Charismatic Christians they whole-heartedly believe that all jews are the chosen people and there is an Org., which I can't recall at the moment, that is trying to get as many Jews back to the holy land as possible in hopes to fulfill prophecy. And there are also many Charismatic groups that are going full force into Israel as missionaries trying to convert Jews to Christianity as they feel it is there duty to try and make sure that the Jews make it to Heaven.

Yes. It teaches that the White races were the twelve tribes of Israel and they separated out. Like I said, I'm not an expert and there are friends of mine who know tons more about Scripture than I do. I wish a certain person here would give us a few lessons....hint...hint....

http://www.gratefullygrafted.org/
basically they believe that their zionism is 'real' zionism because it's based on the covenant god made with abraham in the book of genesis.. whereas jewish zionism was/is a reaction to persecution in europe.
they believe that jews (all or the vast majority of them) must be gathered in israel in order for christ to return. jeremiah 31:10 says that god will regather the jews which he has 'scattered' around the world.. there's a similar passage in isaiah 11:11-12. they also cite luke 21:23-28, which specifically references christ's return.
as for being the chosen people, they generally believe this, as you said.. but that in effect, it doesn't matter, and that jews must convert to christianity (they believe this will happen en masse sometime after the jews are gathered in israel).. to get into heaven. the idea of modern jews not being the same as biblical jews is also enternained in a few evangelical churches, for example some pentecostals (which are not charismatics, by the way, even though charismatic christianity is based on pentecostalism).
