More true words have never been spoken, my friend from the great white North.

I think Tito will fight Chuck after this. Chuck will KO his ass again until UFC shells out some money for Chuck to fight Quinton "I found Jesus" Jackson.

I think Tito may possibly beat Chuck. He definitely won't stand with him the next time they fight. He just need to grow some bigger balls for that one.

I agree. Tito definitely won't try and trade with Chuck again, at least not on purpose. I don't think he'll be able to take Chuck down and keep him there, though.

Wait, didn't Marquardt have a really boring fight with Ivan Salavary? And wasn't he on roids? And what's up with these retarded nicknames fighters have these days? They should seriously cut it out.

Forget about a fluke win for Ken, though. If I were Ken I'd kick Tito dead off in his penis ten seconds in to the first round and then Hulkster legdrop him

I think he really believes in his mind that he can KO Tito. I mean, he probably could if Tito tried to stand with him, but we all know Tito is going to pick him up and dump him on his head. Ken has no takedown defense. Hopefull he worked on that shit really hard.

I pretty much agree about his wrestling. It's great to have in your background but does'nt always work against someone who is a great striker and submission guy. He seems to be able to muscle his way through his opponets maybe making up for lack of him being able to recieve as much verbal instruction over his fight career. He's lucky to have Tito watching his back.

fightgirrl
10-11-2006, 02:42 AM
I agree, he definatly needs to work on his striking and as the announcers said his hands. It has to be hard for him to be out there without the bennifit of a corner man. We saw how much a good corner man can alter how a fight goes with Shonnie. I feel having Matt in his corner helped him win that fight.

Matt Hammil is a beast of a wrestler with good instincts and no compunctions about hurting people. Right now he's a good fighter but he could become an awesome one. Did you see that single that he got on that dude? He literally hurled that guy across the octagon.

First fight:

Seemed like a good fight...mostly on the ground..but it was easily the bloodiest of the night. That deaf dude was cool on The Ultimate Fighter, and he rocked tonight. Not a lot of striking, kind of slow...but by the end they both had eye cuts and were bleeding everywhere.

Second fight:

Awesome. I hated that fucking dude on TUF, thought he was a cocky fucker and he got his ass handed to him. Im just suprised he lasted as long as he did in that triangle. Kinda impressed. I laughed when he said "He fought like a man, and i tapped out like a little bitch."

Third fight:

Eh...it was kinda boring. I knew who was going to win, although i didnt want him to. Oh well.

ME:

Who expected different? It was kinda cool to see them "make up." Would have been a lot better if Shamrock didnt go for the take down and stood up for at least the first round. Might have even got a lucky KO.

Regardless...too many fucking commercials...i saw more "Flava of Love" than i saw fighting. I also predecit a Stamos vs Rogan fight that will rock the fuck out of UFC.

I disagree. It may be too soon to tell, but I thought Hamill's performance was shit. In none of his fights has he looked good. I think his dreams will come crashing down when he fights someone with decent takedown defense and good striking.

I really don't see him ever winning a championship. Again, though, it may be too soon to tell.

I thought he looked pretty good last night, he was definitely out-pointing that dude at all times. In MMA, wrestlers will either GnP or out-point the other guy, and he looked like he was doing both. I wouldn't say he's in the running for any belts either, and in a way going to TUF was kind of feeding him to the wolves. He needs more experience. But then again the tougher guys he fights the more he will improve, especially if he stays with a good training camp. What confused me was how he decided to fight from kicking range instead of closer inside. I thought he was a Greco wrestler.

I don't hardly even train, I'm what you'd call a poor garage grappler. And I think Matt is just in the habit of keeping his hands low. I don't think I've seen his chin tested but he's got retard strength so it figures he may have a retard chin. Not that he's a retard or anything

FIGHT #4
John Kazuba (Canada) vs. Vlajko Perovic (Germany)
Kazuba pressed the action in the first two rounds. Kazuba proceeded to drop Perovic with a short left hook in Round Three. Round Four was uneventful as Perovic showed the wear and tear of his first battle. In the Grappling rounds Perovic almost caught Kazuba in a left arm Kimura but was not able to sink it. The final round saw even grappling skills and a great stand up finish by both fighters, the final result went to a unanimous decision in favor of Team Canada's John Kazuba.
