One of the local shops in my town does tattoo removal via burning. The processe leaves scarring but it is minimal (I've seen the processe before and after). I'm gonna have my lower right arm wiped clean then I'm having a half sleeve done over the scares. I've decided since I'm a big Mad Max fan to get the cover of the first movie done minus the writing (Gonna have some of the art changed to make it somewhat original).

Jeff, seeing that photo I could only think of one thing:
"It's fun to stay at the YMCA..."
Seriously great movie but that poster ain't the cats meow. Hell go for a full on tattoo scene out of the movie!

For the last fucking time, go to a Dermatologist to have tattoos removed.

Wiped clean is a pretty loose phrase to use, and as for tatting over the scares? You need to look at how many years you need to wait as well as calculate the risk of the ink never setting in them.

Agreed.
Jeffo, you are being a complete and total dumbfuck.
Stop trying to cheap out!
You get what you pay for - and in this case, what you're going to pay for is massive fucking scarring all over your arm that will fuck up any attempt to lay down new ink later!

I think the "scene out of the movie" idea is a pretty good idea. I'm thinking the guy handcuffed to the car bomb with max standing over him. I'm going to watch a tattoo removal tommarow on a guy who has a few healed ones already before I make my final decision. I'll post some pics of the deal when I can get my film developed. The guy who does it has been doing it for years. Anyways if it works on the dude tommarow then it may just be what I'm looking for. Eithier way I'll post some pics of a screaming dude for laughs.

Whats the deal with the removal - is it because you have something offensive or a real train wreck or something?

If you are doing cover up, you may not need it completely gone either - you can get it lightened out by laser pretty easy without full removal...just my 2 cents...
oh ya...and the YMCA came to mind too...that poster is a bit toonish fer me, but whatever floats your boat.

You're making this too easy for me.
Hell go for gold and get Mad Max in assless chaps standing over a guy peeing in his mouth. THAT would be something, something indeed!
Post pics though, useless without pics.

The artist that does the work on Doc and me has a tattoo that he's getting removed. He's friends with a docter, who burns it away with acid. :p

I have a question. Who are you? I mean, apart from some 20 year old girl that on the last board made it very clear that you hate skinheads and you dont even know what you are doing here anymore. Oh and you claimed to be from chicago but nobody in the scene had any idea who you were.

my mistake. that was just Mad Max 2 down here. the Road Warrior was just some crap tacked on later. much like "A New Hope".

just get it lasered off and it shouldn't leave scars, depending on the colors it may look like bruising at first, but after another session it should be fine.
Make up your mind and stop being a mamby-pamby about it.

Either way you cut it, the first one rocked, the second one sorta rocked, and the third one mostly blew, aside from Tina Turner in a chainmail dress.

third one also had Angry Anderson (Rose Tattoo), that almost makes up for Mel's mullet...

I totally disagree. The second movie was much, much better for a variety of reasons that I won't bore you with. Let's just say, any time you're driving a Mac Coolpower around, running over trucks and bandits and such, trying to get the shotgun shell off the bonnet, and Wes is pounding his way through the back windown; that's good entertainment. Of course, I could have passed on the assless chaps.
