I need a Dodge V8, preferably SB, NOT FUEL INJECTED! So if you have an old Dodge engine that still runs well in the Philadelphia, PA or Saratoga Springs, NY area tell me.

How much do you figure shipping would be? What did you take it out of?

Gee...a stovebolt 6. My uncle has a 30 Chevy 5 window sitting in a barn on his farm. All original, engine, tranny, etc. It was his dad's and he was restoring it back in the 80's and then lost interest. I'm trying to get him to let me take it, but he wants to restore it. His dad (who is 97) told him to give me the damn thing, at least I'd do something with it.

keep on that. in my experience if you bug him enough he will realize he's never gunna do a damn thing with it. that would be pretty badass man.
mine was all origional running car with registration that had been in a recent movie as a background prop. i drove it around for a few weeks before we ditched the engine and the driveline and the interior and everything else. she was a bumpy ride man, they did things differently in 36.. lol..

i decided against chopping the top since the windscreen is already tiny and i decided i'm gunna re-canvas the rag top instead of welding in a new roof so alot of the fabrication is done now, we still have to get the rack adapted, a few things on the steering column sorted, rear shocks and the sway bars, one side engine mount needs to be fastened, all the piping and wiring, releathering/and interiior coverings, new glass and a few more smaller jobs and then it will be finnished so we're in the final stretch.. cant fucken wait.

OK, I gotta dig out some pics of the '49 Ford I had and the '56 too. I hate the whole rockabilly/hot rod culture, but I love hot rods and rockabilly music.
