Greetings all,
For those of my friends who aren't vegetarians (which should be most of you), we're going to need some serious help at our SemiColon release party Saturday Oct. 21st at O'Briens, eating all of this meat. Soul Fire BBQ in Allston is bringing:
30 pounds of Pulled Pork
30 pounds of Beef Brisket
30 pounds of ribs
15 quarts of Collard greens
15 quarts of potato salad
as well as all the bread and bbq sauces we could possibly need.
If you haven't eaten at Soul Fire yet, then this would be a great opportunity to load up on the best BBQ this side of the river. We will be screening some of our works, including SemiColon (which this is the official release for). We will also be premiering the new Larkin Brigade music video for the first time. We've got two punk bands and two metal bands: Superpower, Pure Impact, Gut, and Mouth Sewn Shut. Robby Roadsteamer (who did the narration for SemiColon) will be the guest MC and motivational speaker. As if all of this wasn't enough we're also raffling off some cool prizes from our sponsors (every paid entry gets a ticket). The show is an early one, 4:00pm to 10:00pm, so there's no excuse not to come out. We hope to see you there, it promises to be a great time.
