I just had some work done and was amazed by the people that balked at the shop minimum of $50. I guess some of these idiots don't realize that you get what you pay for...and a tattoo is FOREVER so you're stuck if you get a shitty one. I'm wondering what's going to happen when this new ink comes out that you can remove with one lasering..

I wont name names but there's a local guy who who just got out of jail and nobody will hire him. The reason he was in jail is: A female client came in for a nipple piercing, he asked if she wanted him to numb that for her, she said yes, he started sucking her tit saying "num num num". She pressed charges and he went to jail. I'll try find the newspaper article cuz I know this sounds like a load of shit urban legend. His work aint so great either

How does this guy get licensed and I can't even get an apprenticeship? He's making a living scratching on people... and for some reason he keeps getting more customers? Are all these people blind?? You figure a shop like that would go out of business on negative reputation alone.

haha i was thinkin that too. man oh man i thought the site was a joke til i saw they actually have a storefront. seems like dudes just ordered tattoo guns thru an ink mag and somehow were able to get a store and sucker blind morons into laying some scratch into their body. i don't feel sorry for the people though, anyone dumb enough to see the work and still go ahead with getting scratched by them deserves to have shit on them. my worst piece looks better than their best, for that i'm thankful

Tell ya what - I haven't read all these posts, but I can tell you that the shops in Oklahoma are ALL like this. We just got legal tattoo's like a month ago - last state in the US - and the talent that is coming out of the backdoor shops into the mainstream ...OH MY FUCKING GAWD....I'm talking serious SHIT! I was so excited that I didn't have to go to Dallas anymore...and now, I still go to Dallas - There's only a handful of artists in Oklahoma that I'd go see...and when I say handful - I mean 2. haha

i always wonder the same thing. when i was looking for an artist when i decided to get my sleeve i went to a ton of shops to check out work and meet people. i couldn't believe some of the garbage i came across, yet they stay in business.
