When I log into WSN I noticed that the front page doesn't display apostrophes, instead using question marks in diamonds. I don't know what it means, but Nutter said he didn't see it and it might be a problem with my settings. Is anyone else seeing this on the main page or is it a problem with my settings? If it is a problem on my end, what settings need to be changed?
Please understand that this site is not a racist skinhead site. It is a Non-Political Forum where skinheads from many different countries and political backgrounds come to talk about all sorts of things. Please feel free to join the site and have fun. Just remember you are here at this site owners pleasure and will be banned if you don't conform to this sites rules. This means that if you are overly political or just plain stupid, you are gone; no questions asked.

it's an xml thing with firefox reading special charcters into shit - diamond with a question mark in the middle right? I've heard of it and will have to research it again to figure out a fix - I can't for the life of me remember what that means. I'll take a look at the html code later and see what's calling it up.

click on Tools, options, advanced tab and "Choose" under languages - make sure it says English/United States [en-US] too just in case

Ok..it's in Character Encoding

Click View - then Character encoding and make sure it's set to Western ISO-8859-1 - You probably have Unicode selected.

Might make sure that "auto" is set to off too just in case - do you go to sites that are non-english sites?

I checked those and its already set to Western ISO-8859-1 and the auto is set to off as well. I don't really go to any of non-english sites unless bad english counts.

and you checked that setting "while" on the main page that's having trouble?

You can see apostrophe's just fine here in the forum?

Yup, just on the front page. Everywhere else is fine.

Re check all those settings (select something else then go back and setlect the right settings) then reboot.

Thats all I have.
