Spam - origin New York

I run a UK football forum and have been plagued with two US origin spammers. At the end of last week they succeeded in crashing the server to the point of wiping the facility out. I can get no more information apart from the following:

66.232.107.104 -US - NEW YORK.UNITED STATEShttp://www.ip2location.com/flags/US.gif--NOC4HOSTS INC

192.149.225.118 - NEW YORK. UNITED STATES. TULLETT & TOKYO FOREX INC

Does anyone know anything about the hosts NOC4 Hosts Inc or Tullett & Tokyo Forex? Or have any angle to get any more information from the IP No's?

and the only thing i saw about tullet & tokyo was that it's some kinda financial brokerage in NY founded by some British guy

There are ways of blocking IP addresses and even ranges in most forum software, if not you could get some one to write some custom code to handle it.

What forums software are you using?

Cheers Loathey. I have some code written now to protect from proxy servers sending up to 10 messages per second over a period of two hours - that's what crashed the system after it happenbed 3 times in one morning (US morning that is). Further tracking has taken it to Wisconsin now.
