i wish kurt cobain was still alive. sure we d have a couple more crappy albums on top 40 radio, but he wouldnt be held in such godlike stature. he wasnt a genius. he wrote shitty songs for a generation that was tired of the flamboyance in music a decade earlier. he couldnt sing worth a fuck and could barely play live because he was so strung out all the time. kids ate that shit up at the time. thank god my taste in music was already maturing itself at the time of his demise.
the king on the otherhand did just as many drugs as kurt cobain, bathed in the glory of his fame, and died a fat old man on the shitter. gotta love the king.
