What idiot would miss a chance to see Negative Approach? Makes me think about the 7" I had stolen from me. I hope it's kid friendly, cause terrormachine jr. is probably gonna make an appearence at this one.

Saw NA a couple of times in the 80's around the time they put out "Tied Down", they definitely kicked ass, I was lucky enough to see them before they split up on that tour...

Most kids these days don't even know who they are are what effect they had on hardcore in general. Detroit people especially should know.

I saw the Misfits w/Danzig in '84(?). I didn't even realize what I was witnessing, since youth is wasted on the young. Thinking back, I can hardly remember being at the show. I've been lucky enough to see some great bands over the years, and I can't wait to see NA. The Circle Jerks I've seen about 4 times, but not since '89.

haha.. Everything you said rings absolutely true, I remember some great bands that people would give a left nut now to be able to say they saw back then. As you said though I was completely obliterated for some of those show and don't remember shit...Definitely saw the Circle Jerks at least 5 times, all the versions of Black Flag, D.O.A, Youth Brigade, G.B.H. (first US tour, they wrecked shit), Misfits (once). The list is endless...

The attached link shows tons of bands that came through Sacto numerous times, I am sure you will remember and have probably seen a bunch of them. The site has Northern and Southern Cal bands as well as Southwest...Looking at the lists may bring back a few names you've since forgotten... The East Coast pages also have a shitload of bands that came out here in the 80's. A virtual walk down memory fucking lane.
