drive formatting ?

Is there any way to make a USB attached external hard drive read as an internal hardware drive? I would like to migrate a bunch of my DRM equipped music to my external hard drive to save space on my internal hard drive.

Oh and it would be awesome if i could run programs from it too.

YEah you can you have to install the program on the external drive when you first install the program.

Most likely under advanced install. Most programs give you the option of were you would like to install it.
