Winecityskin, did you watch the game on Thursday? Why ain't you singing about how great your palermo is now? Newcastle really fucked you guys, despite that their best players were injured.

Also a group of Geordie journalists were 'forced out' of a Sicilian bar by certain gentlemen in Palermo just before the game...Just wish it was anyone but Newcastle though..can't stand 'em....

But you have to admit it's funny that Italy's number 2 team got defeated by an English club in the relegation position.

traditionally though I wouldnt have said Palermo were Italys No 2 team ............they may be riding high and Im answering this in ignorance as I havent followed Italian footie since they took it off our screens on channel 4 some years back
Juve/Lazio/Inter/AC Milan/Roma have always been the bigger clubs of Italian Footie .................

From what I understand Juventus and AC Milan are the big players in Italy and everybody else is just there for decoration but they said on TV a week or so ago that Palermo is currently second in the Italian league.
I'm just glad the Italian club lost.

Yeah sure...bit too late for Roeder though I think...
Why on earth a club as big as Newcastle ever appointed a manager like him though, God only knows....disasters at Gillingham,Watford, West Ham and now Newcastle....

I watched the West Ham-Arsenal game. It was fucking funny how Persie got hit in the head with a coin then started screaming. I'm glad to see arse-anal lose, I fucking hate them. Them and man u... I'll be sure to sing 'I'm forever blowing bubbles' tommorrow to the many arsenal supporters I know...
As for Chelsea... fuck... can't believe we got beat by fucking Tottenham... We managed to pull off a draw against Barca last week, best club in Europe, but we can't beat the yids... For fucks sake... It wouldn't be so heartbreaking if man united wasn't doing so fucking good. The only thing they had on Chelsea was goal difference but now they've got one more win and no expected losses in the near future...
Ahh well, you can't win them all and we'll still beat manchester in the finals...

Its their first time in Europe but they looked a good side against us but yeah you're right they are second but all the other major players in Serie A had points deducted or were relegated after the match-fixing thing....
But yeah losing to Newcastle at the moment was pretty embarrassing....but we did a couple of weeks ago...

Yes mate but its a little bit like the Blackburn Rovers of this world ...........not exactly a giant in footballing terms but with the right players/Money/Management ........and West Ham doing you favours on the final game of the season against M*N U some years back .............anythings possible !!
